| This flow through roof edge will afford designers the option to utilize structural slope that drains the roof to a gutter edge. Available in in a variety of perforation paterns for gutter edges and solid designs for non-draining edges. The Green Roof Edge is fabricated of pre-painted aluminum in a Kynar finish available in 26 standard colors. The integral filter fabric can be layered into the drainage layer of the green roof system to retain even the finest particles in the growth media. Ten foot lengths are stocked to accommodate growth media depths of four, six, and eight inches. Custom fabrication is available for other media depths and unique edge profiles. |

The Green Roof Drain is fabricated of stainless steel and uses the same integral filter fabric configuration as the Green Roof Edge to ensure the retention of fine particulate growth media. The filter fabric of various manufacturers can be utilized to meet individual project specifications. The lid is easily removed for ready drain access and can concealed using garden paving stones or vegetated Green Roof Blocks. The dimensions of the Green Roof Drain can vary to accommodate drain size, sump installations, and growth media depth. |

| Self Contained Modular Green Roof Stystems |
Green Roof Blocks are self contained, portable green roof units that can be arranged and rearranged as the building owner sees fit. Each unit consists of a 24" x 24" container fabricated of heavy gauge aluminum. Durable and drought resistant sedums are planted in four inches of proprietary growing medium. The growing medium is a mixture of mineral and organic material custom blended to sustain sedums for the life of the system. The system uses a 3/8 inch thick walk pad material adhered to the bottom serving both to protect the roofing surface and to allow drainage under the Green Roof Blocks. The walk pad material used is procured from the manufacturer of the building owner's roofing system to insure compatibility and warranty integrity. The system is lightweight and considerably less expensive than typical green roof installations. Installation is as easy as setting the units in place on the roof top, its just that simple. Priced at $12.50 per square foot, Green Roof Blocks are the simply affordable green roof strategy. |
